Today we had Ward Conference and pretty much every meeting was on TRIALS. I loved it and thought I would share a little bit of it! It was a great reminder that the trials we face are just stepping stones in our journey to return back to live with our Heavenly Father and his son, our Savior - Jesus Christ some day. During our Stake President's talk, he said "We need to work through our trials instead of letting our trials work through us." I loved that! As much as we all like to be anry and stubborn when something is not going our way or when life seems a bit overwhelming, we need to strive to stay positive and only pray and read our scriptures more. During the last meeting, I couldn't help but think of all my past trials and how each of them have only turned out for the best even though at the time I thought WHY? I then began to think of all the trials that are ahead of me and me and Jordan and our family and kind of got excited! Trials only make us a better people! I am grateful for the knowledge we have of this being members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints!

Excited for trials?......that may be a bit strong....lol. Cool post though, as we all do forget the need for trials in our life. How boring would life be without them!
Meags - I love that! Especially the quote from your stake president. You are such a strong person! It is always a good reminder to stay positive, although it is hard in the moment. I think optimism is a great tool in overcoming challenges. Your the best - I love the post!
Saturday sounds good. I'm hoping that I feel better by then. Where are we going to hang out?
