Mother's Day & My Birthday!

Last weekend Jord's parents and brother Kolby; his wife Ali and their kids came to visit us!  We have only been here 2 1/2 weeks and we already got to see family! It was really fun to reunite with all of them and enjoy one another's company! Byron and Lesa are in Cleveland all week visiting Kolby, Ali and the kids. They got here Saturday night and we ate at O'Charley's to pass the time waiting for Jord to get home.  We then hung out at our apartment and opened Mother's Day/Birthday gifts ... early!  Sunday we enjoyed a Mother's Day sacrament meeting in our ward. (I loved it! I think I am really going to like our ward here.)  After sacrament, we changed our clothes and headed to COSI, a Science/Natural History Museum in downtown Columbus.  YES, we did break the sabbath but what else were we supposed to do? (NOT hang out in our little musty apartment ... besides, Jord's family was on VACA!) We had originally planned to go to the Zoo but of course it had to RAIN all day.  The museum was actually really fun though.  We rushed home around 5:40 to talk to Dev who was calling at 6:00 from Argentina!  It was so good to hear his voice and know that he is doing great and loving the people of Argentina.  It was especially fun to all be together (with Benny and Nic on 3 way) to talk to him.  We then went to PF Chang's for a yummy Mother's Day dinner and topped it off with ice cream at Graeter's! (again ... YES we broke the sabbath:/)

Monday was my birthday! We were able to eat at Panera Bread for lunch with Jord before he had to go to work!  We then enjoyed a delicious ice cream cake (thanks to "B" and Kolb for surprising me with it!)  It was another cold rainy day so it kept us from trying to go to the Zoo again and only left us girls to one thing ... ShOpPiNg!  Byron and Kolby were so nice to babysit the kids at my apartment while Lesa, Ali, and I headed to H&M and Forever 21! (YES I have an H&M about 20 minutes away!)  It was a fun three days with family! Thanks guys for everything!

OH! I almost forgot ... on the way to COSI, well trying to find COSI, we just happened to pass America's OLDEST Harley Dealer - Established 1912! Byron was in HeAvEn! We had to stop ... Byron said as we were turning around to back to it, "Is it Mother's Day or Father's Day?" It was fun to see the very first OR oldest Harley bike though and it is the only place I actually took pictures the whole time they were here!

This video is of Jord riding a gravity UNICYCLE at COSI Museum ... :)

I thought I would share some pics from Elder Deven Day since he has been serving in Argentina! It really made my Sunday to talk to him! I love missionary work and I am thankful for the example Dev is to me!
