Last Wednesday, we began our road trip to Columbus with Gordon and Tricia! We drove to Sydney, Nebraska that night where we stayed in I don't even remember the name of the hotel ... actually MOTEL and I forgot to take pictures! BUT I do NOT recommend staying there. The second day we drove through the rest of Nebraska, Iowa, and a little bit of Illinois where we stopped in Peoria to stay the night. We found a Hampton Inn & Suites and can I just say - it was HEAVEN! ... compared to the night before. I did end up throwing up all night though ... or really wanting to anyways! I made various trips to the bathroom! The third and last day of our trip, we only had to drive 6 hours into Columbus! It was so good to get here! After pulling into our apartment complex and getting out of the car, I was able to soak up the "southern" air! I felt like we were finally in my neck of the woods! I love the humidity and I love all the greenery! It is beautiful! We really like our apartment complex too! I will post pictures as soon as I take some! I know I keep telling everyone that so I am sorry I am slacking! But here are just a couple from our roadie to hold you over:)!

I still can't believe we all made it one piece! I think the name of the hotel in Sydney was like "America's Favorite Inn" or something like that... but I still have yet to figure out exactly whose favorite it was to warrant that name...definitely not ours!! Thanks for being our road trip buddies all the way out here and putting up with all of our craziness. I'm sorry you had to witness my crazy driving all the way out! :)
Oh man! That looks like a long road trip. I kept thinking about you guys like the day after you left and wondered where you were at and then the next day I would wonder the same thing. But you made it!! Its kinda weird for me because we talked about you guys leaving for so long and now you are GONE!
I have to tell ya that it was quite the experience going over to your house yesterday to fix the alarm thing.......the alarm went off twice!!! Wow!!! that thing is soooooooo loud!!! We were running around trying to open and shut windows!! Ill have to tell ya more about it later-but it was funny:)
OH MEAGAN...I HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT SUMMER!!!! Have so much fun out there!!! Post pics regularly so we can see how things are going!!!
We miss our lunch buddy.. Last week we went to Zupa's and it just wasn't the same. Thanks for what ya said on my page. Jenny did a way good job. and I think we'll keep Ry around. Hope you are having so much fun and to hear from you soon!
