KIRTLAND

On Sunday we all decided to head to Kirtland for the day. I LOVE Kirtland! I found myself more wrapped up in the history and felt the spirit much more than I did last summer when Jord and I went ... I still found myself feeling a little bugged as I walked through the temple listening to our tour guide, who is a member of the Community of Christ church, and knowing that it wasn't "ours."  But it is still an amazing building and I learned that it is probably the most expensive temple our church has ever built ($50,000-60,000 in the 1830's = 19 million today)! It was a great experience and a fun day to spend with Jord ... and the APX group!

most of the APX clan!

ATTN: Davis County Folk! Sister Andrea Hymas says hello to all of you! we were lucky to have her as one of our tour guides:)

After Kirtland, Blake, Angie, Brian, Mindy, Jord and I went to the BeAcH! (kind of).  We went to Lake Erie and enjoyed the wind and the water! It really does look like the ocean minus clear blue/green water and the beach was more rocky instead of sugary soft but it was still fun and worth it!

here is our series of pics that Brian took ... hint - he is the only one not in these!
