jibber jabber ...

this post is really kind of just for "record" or journaling purposes ... i am trying to keep up with myself as much as possible and here i am sitting at work (bored obviously), typing this because it seems like jord and i always have something going on in the evenings and if we don't, then i am just too tired to sit on the computer and end up sitting in front of my tv instead! so if you are reading this ... sorry. it may be a bit boring!

my parents flew in about 2 weeks ago to drive some furniture out to my brother and his wife in cali. for the short time they were in town, my sister and i were able to have lunch with them. it was fun. i just love them SO much. it will be so good to see them again for thanksgiving and to have mom here when baby easton comes! i am so grateful for ALL they do for me and jord.

that same day/night, jordan was supposed to go camping with the scouts in our ward. the scouts are pretty much "sissy's" because none of them wanted to go! what? who are you? what boy doesn't like to go camping and just be with the guy's sometimes? i guess, maybe they are just too young ... jord was bummed. but he and his buddy kade decided to go fishing instead. so while he did that, my "bf" jen and i decided to go to a late movie. the secret life of bees! it is one of our favorite books, thanks to my mama who gave it to me before i left to romania. i think i might have read it in like 3 or 4 days. pretty good for NOT an avid reader. it has since been my favorite book ever. after i finished, jen read it and it became one of her favorite's too! so it was only fitting that we go see it together! i think i can say, for the both of us, that it is AmAzInG! the book may be a little better, but that is usually always the case. i loved the cast of the movie (not to mention each of them played their role perfectly), i loved the production, i loved everything about it! thanks jen for going with me:) (i guess i should thank tyler too for watching kaysia so you could go with me). it was just like the old days.

moving on to halloween weekend. halloween just didn't even seem to really exist this year. we didn't even carve pumpkins! i guess that is what happens when your carving buddies move away! we miss you josh and ad! and i didn't even get my very FEW halloween decorations out! wow. i know ... i am so lazy. i must do christmas though.
aside from NO pumpkin carving, we made up for it with a little trip to st. george with jord's family. we enjoyed the good weather, some shopping, visiting with family, watching our cousin play an amazing game of football for dixie high, seeing tunie as a cute flower for halloween, and the highlights of our trip ... for the girls: THRILLER at Tuacahn and for the boys: the "DRAGS" (drag races) in vegas. Thriller was so AwEsOmE, despite the little hooligans that scare you and follow you and give you anxiety before the show:) i loved it and enjoyed it thoroughly and give my thanks to Lesa for a FUN night! i know jord enjoyed the drags, as always, with the guys and especially his dad! thanks "B"! while the guys watched racing cars over and over, us girls enjoyed a day in vegas too with shopping and lunch. we headed home sunday ... we always hate leaving there. i don't know what it is that we love so much about st. george, but we just do! maybe we will live there someday!? thanks again Byron and Lesa for a fun trip!
i don't know what we were thinking not taking ANY pictures, but i seriously don't have ONE from the whole weekend! so i am resorting to this ... (i couldn't find any GOOD ones online for Thriller either!)

i can't believe it is already november! i can't believe our little dude will be here in less than a month! i can't believe the snow has started to fall and 2009 is around the corner! where did all of our time go!? life changes so fast but i am really looking forward to the near future and what lies ahead for jord and i and our little family. i am so grateful for all of my many blessings!

... and that's a wrap! for now ...
