clear eyes. full hearts. can't lose.

easton and i went to georgia for a whole TEN days. february 13th to the 22nd. (yes i am a bit late posting this ... ) five of those days my parents went to costa rica with some friends, so technically i was there to "watch" the boys a.k.a. hang out at home, enjoy beautiful weather and drive the nice sequoia around town ... what could get much better than that!? jord joined us on the 19th for the last few days of our fun trip! because i failed to take any pictures at all really, which i am incredibly ticked about - to say the least ... what the heck was i thinking?? i guess better to jot them down in rememberence than anything. here is a list of my dearest memories ...

easton's 1st flight

delta air lines
flight 130
seat: 11E (mom's lap)
destination: atlanta, georgia
departed from: salt lake city, utah
traveled with mom and aunt jac

everyone lovin' on easton (especially g-pa and g-ma ... and uncle t-man)

shopping IKEA, eating lunch at jimmy john's and sitting in georgia tech traffic with mom

uncle trev showing 'his nephew' off to all of his buddies and every "buddy" huddling around him in 'awe', continually calling him a STUD (i am so mad i did not get a picture of this ... ah!)

- trevor and cody's friends raiding the fridge and pantry (something i am going to have to get used to when easton is a teenager!) between loud ping pong tourney's

shopping at the avenues in peachtree city

shopping at the pavillion ... StOrY TiMe- the ONLY evening we have a tornado warning, i decide to go shopping. i am in old navy's fitting rooms talking on the phone with jord. all of a sudden a downpour of what i think is rain is pounding on the roof of the store. jordan could even hear it. i seriously thought the roof was going to cave in.  i walk out of the dressing rooms to find buckets all over the store collecting water from a LEAKING roof! i immediately head to the register's to purchase my goodies and say to the cashier, "it was raining pretty hard out there, eh?" she replies as she looks outside, "oh that wasn't rain. that was HAIL ... you might want to go check your car because there a lots out there with shattered windows ... " WHAT!? it was sunny when i walked in here. i look outside to see balls of hail. it looked like SNOW. i begin to say a prayer that none of the windows are broken on the sequoia. i check the entire car as soon as i get outside. NOTHING ... not even the sun roof. whew! i call the boys on my way home to see if they got the storm ... nope.  as i pull into the garage, the light in there shone on the hood perfectly to point out a million golf ball sized dents! my heart drops! not safe after all! long story short, kind of ... hopefully insurance covers it!

watching FNL episodes (friday night lights, for those of you who don't know! this is where the title of this post comes from ... i dedicate it to you TREV!) with ALL the boys

play date with all the cute girls and my new friends in my family's ward

- leaving my cup under the running water on the freezer door, making a huge puddle of water on the kitchen hardwood floor (that is now buckling!) wow ... see if my parents ever have me sit for them again!

shopping at the Lennox Mall in the big ATL. they had the best NIKE store!

eating at THE Varsity ... "it's famous" claims trevor! ... only in georgia, haha:)

- sitting in atlanta traffic

east enjoyed it before falling asleep for most of the ride home ... thank heavens!

CIRQUE DU SOLEIL. one of the highlights of our trip. after debating whether to go to this and begging the boys to go since we had 8 tickets anyway, it turned out to be more than we thought! the show was AMAZING. jord and i would LOVE to go to one in vegas now. it was  a bit too much for easton's little ears. it didn't help that we were on the 2nd row. thanks to my mom for taking him out and watching him the entire time. she is a SAINT. i love her. what's better than spending some precious time with her first grandson though. and she has seen the show a couple times in vegas. we had VIP tickets and got to go in a "special" tent before the show, during intermission, and after the show for drinks and the most yummy treats! here is where i took all of the pictures ... becuase it was at the end of our trip and i realized i hadn't taken ANY. boo!

here are the boy's endulging in the chocolate fountain with pretzels, strawberries, cream puffs, and pound cake. mmm!

... and me!

caught in action. mom giving dad the look becuase he did something irritating, as usual

having a little fun with all of the "characters" from the show ...

good one dad! what about his head and feet!?!?

so it may seem like i took a lot of pictures after all.  but i took pictures of things instead of US mostly. that is why i feel like i didn't take any ... ten days wasn't long enough for me! we all had such a blast! thanks boys! thanks dad and mom for everything! we LOVE you!
