tuesday was my birthday. i decided that birthday are just like any other normal day ... except you have friends and family that you haven't talked to in forever texting and calling you all day. and you get a few new things! jord got off work early so we could head to salt lake for some shopping. later we met up with the in-laws at market street grill for the BEST hallibut and yummy strawberry ice cream.
due to the dessert we had the night before, we didn't have room in our bellies for the ice cream cake jord bought me. so the next night we had one of jord's mission comps and native of argentina over for dinner. what an awesome kid! we polished it off with the cake. i have to admit though that dairy queen's is better than baskin robbins.
nonetheless, it was still delish!
