my baby

dear easton,

you are now 5 months old! sunday, may 10th, mother's day, was your 5 month birthday exactly. my first "official" mother's day, as people have been calling it.  but your dad and i celebrated last year when you were just 1 month old in my tummy. your dad bought me my very first massage!

i am SO blessed to be your mama. words can not describe how MUCH i LOVE you! you never cease to amaze me each day with your new developments. you are the king of rolling over. and enjoy sleeping on your tummy instead of your back. you are scooting to where you want to be and constantly trying to figure out how to get on your knees and hands at the same time to CRAWL to where you want to go.  you are SO close to sitting up on your OWN! you love to sit in your stroller like a BIG boy instead of in your carseat like a newborn baby. you like to see the world around you. you are SO curious. you no longer watch an entire baby einstein movie. darn! but you are entertained with your bouncy seat for at least 30 minutes or longer. you are a talker ... well, more of just a "rambler." you like to listen to the different sounds your voice makes.  you still enjoy baths and being naked. you still wake up at least once a night (more like early morning) to eat. you KNOW your name and look towards anyone who calls it out. your cheeks are so chubby i can't help but kiss them ALL day long. you LOVE to smile and your smile lights up the room. 

 you make every day more sweeter than the one before. you are the joy of my life. and your daddy's too. you have my eyes, but still look like your pops all around. you are a stud!

as you can see the couch is our special place to take most of e's pictures

and i take pretty much 10-15 shots at least in one sitting after i have dressed him for the day, so it is hard for me to just pick one best picture to post (hence, there are a couple of the "same outfit" pics)
