easton gregory is now 6 months
18 lbs. 3 oz.
25.5" long
he is mr. personality and has the cutest smile on the block. he loves to laugh and we love to hear him laugh. how it lights up our day!
he has become quite the master of army crawling. he is SO close to the actual crawl but can't quite figure out how to put one knee in front of the other and move each hand at the same time.
we get so excited with him when he gets on all 4 and rocks. and we get frustrated along with him when he falls to his tummy.
he is now eating rice cereal with a SPOON! after only 3 days, he has it down pretty good! but who thought he wouldn't!? i have a feeling this kid is going to LOVE food.
we are thankful for his good health and strength.
we LOVE him and just adore everything about our little guy!
{WARNING} below are a TON of videos and pictures ... this post is mostly for family ... those who live out of state ... so sorry SO long:) push pause on the music playlist below before watching. like i've said a time or two before, we just can't get enough of our little stud! oh, and PLEASE ignore any annoying voice in the background.
1st time eating rice cereal ... YUM!
one of his favorite things to do is lounge on this girly boppy and watch baby einstein videos. NO this is not my boppy ... my good friend jen has lended it to us for awhile:)
another one of his favorite things to do ... crawl and play all over his play mat. gotta love the "cleave!"
2nd time eating rice cereal. the purple bumbo is another borrowed item ... don't think for a second that we would buy our boy this:) nothings better than borrowing for free ... thanks jen! and kaysia:)
3rd time eating rice cereal ... it just gets better every time!
last sunday we went up to midway for din din. easton loves to watch shelby, the family dog, run all over the house. here are some cute videos of east not being able to take his eyes off of her. too funny! too cute.
the other night we ichatted with my parents after going out to dinner. east wanted to show off his crawling skills. we would put the mac on the opposite side of the room from east and he would crawl (army crawl) all the way to my parents with them cheering him on. i wish i would have videoed it ... duh! what was i thinking? here is a cute pic though ...
he was in the best mood that night. here are some snapshots and video after we ichatted.
so a few nights ago, easton was SO tired and got himself so worked up that he couldn't fall asleep for the longest time. after deciding that maybe taking him on a drive would help calm him, i layed him in his bed first just to see what would happen. he feel asleep within 2 minutes. no joke. maybe it is time we let him cry himself to sleep??
the next day as soon as i saw him rubbing his eyes before his morning nap, i took up to his bedroom and layed him in his crib with a teddy bear and his blanket and again ... he was asleep within 2 minutes! awesome! when i went to check on him i thought this snapshot was priceless.
4th time eating rice cereal! he loves it, although by the end of this feeding he was definitely ready for a bath. he's got it down like a champ! moving on to carrots!
