another reason i have been MIA on the blog is this
...
yup, grandma and grandpa have been here from georgia! and these are the only pictures (basically) i have to show for it ... LAME.
two weekends ago jord, my dad, and brothers flew to oregon for the weekend where they visited the famous voodoo doughnut shop and cheered on the utes at the utah/oregon game. jord failed at taking ANY pictures that i told him to too!
then ... this past weekend was a utah home game. my dad was the only one that was going to come out but last minute my mom decided to come with him and leave the boys home ... they weren't complaining. it was great to have them here! especially because easton was really sick. last thursday night easton came down with a really runny nose and horrible cough ... after getting a total of 2 hours of sleep that night, we found out he had an ear infection AGAIN ... but in both ears this time! and to top all of this, he couldn't keep any food down for 2 days either! he was pretty miserable and so were we. friday was spent sitting on the couch ALL day, dozing on and off as easton layed restless in our arms. if only he were that cuddly when he wasn't sick.
anyway ... saturday was our uncle's wedding (jord's moms brother) and we were able to attend without easton. it felt weird but freely good at the same time! i wanted to take him so all of the family could see him but i was thankful my parents could be here to watch him or i might have had to stay home and miss out on the fun too! side note ... i just sounded REALLY selfish and side note 2 ... my regular, pretty much all of the time, beautiful sister babysitter was working. it all just worked out really great! AND again ... i have NO pictures to show for this ... the wedding was really nice and it was fun to see all of the LUKE side of the family. we are so happy for uncle boyd and his new wife, deb ... congrats to the two of them!
saturday night my mom and i enjoyed some delicious spoon me while hanging with east at home and the guys cheered on the utes for their redeeming win over louisville (after losing the oregon game the weekend before). my parents also found two good prospects in a potential cabin in park city ... yay!
now that i have written a novel ... i will work harder on getting the camera out to capture more of these moments!
in one of the many pairs of pj's grandma spoiled him with
bundled up in his georgetown hoodie the fam bought him @ georgetown in DC ... jogging the canyon one early morning

easton sneaking into his tissues sunday night ... feeling a bit better!
