this is my word for the day.
we were planning to hang out with these ladies today ....
BUT ... this little tike is SICK ... AGAIN!
luckily, he is napping at this very moment ...
i woke up to easton's usual fuss this morning a little before 6. when i went to get him out of his crib he was laying on his tummy still half asleep so i bent down to rub his back hoping he would fall back asleep for good. as i leaned over his crib i noticed there was a big discolored spot on his sheet. thinking it was maybe snot (A LOT of snot) because he has had a runny nose for days
...
nope! not snot. THROW UP! lots and lots of it. i am pretty sure he had thrown up at least 3 times during the night. one spot was even bright bright yellow ... yup, the bile from his tummy. he had nothing left to throw up after a couple of times. i picked him up immediately and his pj's were soaked (with throw up), front and back. along with his socks, parts of his hair, and his blankets.
we pray this is just a 24 hour bug and we get him better for the big weekend ahead so he can play with all of his cousins!
i guess my day will be filled doing laundry, watching my tivoed shows and snuggling my little one while trying to get as much pedialyte in him as he will swallow!

I hate when little babies throw up. They always seem so confused, like "What is happening to me?!" When Mandy was throwing up bile, we made sure we kept her really hydrated so if she threw up, there was actually something to throw up.
Hope he's better soon.
