thanksgiving!

this year was our year with the day family. well, it was SUPPOSED to be ...

BUT, jord's parents were in argentina picking up our elder day!

and there is no other place we would've rather had them be!

we just wish we could have gone with them!

on the other hand, we got to spend the holiday with my FAMILY!

my parents, my brother, cousin, sister, grandparents, my aunt and her kids, jord's sister, and our friend, an old comp of j's from the mission, 
and his cute fiance.

they all came to utah so it worked out perfectly.

 we were able to spend a fun few days with them too!

oh how i LOVE my family.

as we sat around this huge table for our thanksgiving feast we stuck with tradition and all said what were were thankful for. before we started we TRIED to set a rule that we would only say one thing and we couldn't say what somone else said.

...  didn't happen!

every single one of us said FAMILY, eachother, children.

as i said before ...

there is NO denying that my family is TIGHT!

and i mean that in more ways than one:)

one day i watched my neice (jord's sisters little girl) while she got her hair cut. i took her to this house to play with east. here they are in the little playroom under the stairs.

later on easton opened his birthday presents from grandma and grandpa and the great grandparents

... just so THEY could see him open THEIR gifts! thanks all for the fun toys and cute clothes!

the day after thanksgiving was my little sisters birthday! we went to the SO good Bear Dance Cafe for dinner and then went back to the house for gifts and games. here she is modeling the purse we bought her!

and then my brother and my cousin opened their birthday presents from US and my brother and his wife in cali so WE could see them open them.

all of these birthdays are all within 3 weeks of eachother!

i regret not getting MORE pictures (as always). i really wish i would have got one of EVERYONE sitting at the table eating thanksgiving goodies!
