on sunday easton and i were both still a little sick. easton progressively got worse throughout the day and by evening he was in pretty bad shape.
he was running a fever of 100 degrees, had wheezy FAST breathing, a nose full of green snot, watery eyes and a horrible cough!
we called a neighbor friend to come over to help jord give him a blessing. (thanks nick!)
we gave him some motrin and a warm bath and by the time we laid him in bed he was already much better!
oh the power of the preisthood!
i think easton's blessing even helped me some ... two days later we were both back on our feet and feeling good!
sure we have a little bit of a runny nose and i still kind of sound like a man ... (i told you my voice would change) but we are back to playing and accomplishing things around the house.
i am grateful for a husband who worthily holds the priesthood and can use it to bless the lives of others ... especially our sweet baby boy!
CON to having a stuffy nose: NOT being able to taste any of my FOOD!
PRO to having a stuffy nose: NOT smelling easton's poopy diapers! (i will miss this!)
sick east ... pale face, eyes always half closed and rosy red cheeks
... back to his normal self. hurray!
we even had friends over as SOON as we were feeling better for dinner and the bachelor!
