a week ago monday we ventured out to buy our very first REAL Christmas tree.
jord insisted that we buy a real one this year.
he used to say we would snowmobile up the mountain and cut down our own
but with NO snowmobile and a good friend who works at a cute little tree lot in provo,
that is what we settled for.
probably a good thing since easton refuses to wear his beanie and mittens in the freezing cold weather.
plus, i think we found a pretty perfect tree. and our friend gave it to us for cheaper then the tag's price.
score!

the next night, jordan was going to temple square to see the lights with the young men.
easton and i decided to join in on the fun.
thanks to jord's mom for tending luke.
it was fun to share some time with just east.
even though it was colder than the night before and easton refused, again. to wear his beanie and mittens.
let the christmas fun begin!
our "prize". do you see easton's beanie on jordan's utah hat?
i think this is a must picture to be taken anytime you buy a real tree ... tied to the top of your car ... this is a classic!

east wasn't too excited about the picture because i tried a million times to put his beanie on him before this.
crazy kid with his red nose and red fingers but the cold didn't seem to bother him
taking a break from the cold. riding the escalators up and down ... up and down with his buddy, one of jord's young men. jeremy.
(with kemish by his side and heather, another wife/mom that joined in on the fun!)

I love your tree. How fun to pick one out. I was able to see the lights on temple square once, and they really were gorgeous.
