( here we go ... finally! )
the number one reason we flew out to the big ATL was to attend the farewell of my cousin,
who has lived with my family for about 6 years.
we are so proud that he has chosen to serve the Lord in the Minneapolis, Minnesota mish!
the farewell was beautiful.
lucky for us ... we got to hear my little brother speak too! thanks to dad being the bishop.
and to top the cake, dad conducted the meeting.
both boys gave great great talks!
later that evening, friends came over to the house for yummy treats (all made by my mom!)
and to say goodbye to elder cody king! for at least 2 years anyway.
we enjoyed the night with some of our favorite friends ... the mecham's and the mcrae's.
the mecham's used to live just a few houses down the street. literally.
they now live (across the country) in georgia and we are jealous. oh, and we miss them too! lots.
after church we hurried and snapped these pictures before everyone ripped their church clothes off.
easton wasn't too thrilled about it. as usual.
cute cousins
baby cannon mecham and baby luke day. only 2 months apart.
easton and mcrae lovin' each other
... talking to each other's baby brothers
holding hands
jord and jace. don't ask what jord is doing with his hand?
i made them take a pic together thinking they wouldn't see each other again during our stay,
but little did we know ... they would! you'll see.
grandma and her baby grandson's ... priceless pics.
