gamma gamma gamma!

so, the original plan for our 5 year anniversary was to go on a trip.

to hilton head, south carolina. but it didn't happen.

for lots of reasons. and to sum them all up ...  mostly because our life is so crazy right now.

but we were lucky enough to have my sweet mom in town to watch the boys. overnight!

which is a challenge because easton still doesn't really sleep through the night.

(i know ... i know what you all are thinking. he is a maniac!)

the rest of the fam left town on friday morning to head straight to the braves opening game at home,

and attend the masters in augusta the next day. i know, rough life eh?

my mom stayed (somehow found time in her busy, even crazier life at home) just so we could go out for a night.

it was definitely relaxing and refreshing to have a little time to ourselves.

and not have to worry about hauling two fussy, hungry boys around town ... in and out of the car.

we enjoyed dinner at the melting pot (on jord's parents ... thanks BD and Les!)

stayed the night at hotel monaco. in the biggest hotel suite i've ever seen. thanks babe!

slept in. ate breakfast at bayleaf cafe. shopped a little.

it was just what we needed!

THANK you mom. you are the best. seriously. we love you so much!
