surprise!

we just returned home (last night) from georgia.

THE shortest, a little over 3 days, "never taking this short of a trip again" trip!

it was a bit of teaser. for all of us.

we are already dying to go back. and next time it will be at least a couple of weeks.

so the reason we flew out there on wednesday april 27th is because my momma turned

the big FIVE-OH!

my siblings and i flew out to s.u.r.p.r.i.s.e. her.

thanks to my dad ... that was an easy task. and so much fun!

my sister, the boys, and i (minus jd) flew together from salt lake 

while my brother, his wife, and baby kieren flew from san francisco 

landing in atlanta about 30 minutes apart.

my dad told my mom and little brother that they needed to pick him up from work on their way to Murphy's ...
a restaurant in downtown atlanta.

he left the sequoia (in his parking spot) with the GPS for us kids to drive.

we arrived at the restaurant a little bit before them with balloons and gift(s) in hand.

as my mom arrived and walked to the table where we would be sitting,
we hid behind a little wall ... and as she walked past us we all yelled "SURPRISE!"

we love you MOM! and we are so happy we got to celebrate this milestone of a birthday with you!
