one of my favorite things to do when i am in the south is to go antique shopping with my momma.
we've heard the best are in alabama. one of these days, we are road trippin' it!
on our way to a town called hogansville one hot day (to check out their antique shops),
we found some picture worthy sites and had to stop.
a cute little antique shop we stopped by on the way ...
every time i look at these pictures i immediately start singing tracy bird's, "... do the watermelon crawl!"
please observe this picture(s) carefully.
barbie beach. whaaaaa? ... hilarious!
although i was scared that some shirtless, big bellied man would come stormin' out of his house
with a gun in one hand and a beer in the other.
a.n.d. we may or may not have got the car stuck on the side of the road. ha!

{pleasant hogansville}
this salon was actually on our way to the peach farm ... had to snap a pic!
so southern (so awesome!) especially with the old church building in the rear view.
