luke's actual birthday - october 11, 2010

a week and two days ago was the (actual) day that luke turned the big 1.

we've had a few mishaps in these parts from then to now ... 

including the dreaded flu bug. starting with east and ending with jord.

hopefully it is the first and last that we all have it this coming winter season. ha, we'll see.

the snow hasn't even fallen yet.

i don't know if luke's first birthday was the best day for him (thanks to those vaccinations),

but we had some fun!

east was more into opening them than luke. but hey, what's luke's is east's and what's east's is luke's.
they share (just about) everything!
