here's my boy saying his primary part during saturday's program practice.
(and luke chiming in his part too.)
thanks to jord for capturing it on his phone just so i could share it with all of you.
he did just as good, if not, better on sunday.
you know we are proud parents!
but really, this is for my parents who couldn't be here to see east actually say this on sunday.
thanks to jord's mom for coming and watching ... and helping tame the boys during the meeting too.
i am so proud of all of the primary children for doing a great job!
...
i don't think easton's one word (as his part) in the program could have been more perfect
or have better timing than now.
remember my friend charese? (post below ...)
she has found out that her cancer has spread into other parts of her body.
finding this out on sunday morning has made for an emotional week.
i have found myself on my knees a lot more than usual and listening to this song at night when i lay in bed (after the boys are sound asleep)
to have a good cry.
it's crazy how life seems so much more fragile when something like this is going on with someone you know.
i've been squeezing my kiddos a little tighter and really embracing the moments when they need me.
i am so grateful for the courage charese has at this difficult time in her life.
she is so inspiring! and makes me want to be better.
{please ... say your prayers tonight.}
