home for the holiday's. post six. new year's eve (part 2).

after lunch with our family friends we went home for about 15 minutes,

before getting back in our cars to go to some other friends' house to watch the utah (sun bowl) game.

for half of it anyway ... until dad had to leave to do some church stuff.

we went home to watch the end of the game and hang out for the rest of the night.

ate a yummy dinner, played games, put the boys to bed and watched the ball drop in NYC on tv.

 it was a fun, calm night ... at home.

i love these pictures of him and jaclyn (that i took).

he came to hang out with our family every night that week.

he leaves this month for the ireland/scotland mission.

we wish him the best over these next two years of serving the Lord.
