presidential party

a week ago today we celebrated our bezzie's baby's 1 year birthday.

i have been meaning to post these pictures for more than five days now, but our family came down with

some awful colds ... one right after the other ... since the day after this party.

and my family has been in town since last sunday. (oh, maybe that is what really explains it!)

the fam left yesterday and we met up with these bezzie's last night for dinner at kneaders.

being with them & jordan + a bowl of warm broccoli soup couldn't have been a cozier welcome home.

anyway, seeing that baby cash's birthday is the same month as president's day,

what better way to celebrate than to wear some red, white, and blue!

as you know from other party posts of these good friends of ours, 

you know they know how to party!

they asked me to take some pictures ... and of course i did!

it was a night full of friends, good food, prizes, and (of course) a piñata!
