Sunday evening we had our friends, Derek and Jennilyn and their little one - Bria, over for dinner that was outstanding!!! I wasn't so sure about it because the things we ate were random and I felt like it didn't all go together. Jordan found this amazing recipe for chicken strips by Paula Dean ... queen of the south! I know you are all thinking ... 'Oh. Just chicken strips!?' But these chicken strips tasted delicious ... along with our homemade fry sauce! Maybe we were just really hungary! Derek did say he needed to get the recipe though! Jord did an awesome job of following the recipe and deep frying them! mmmm! We also had rice-a-roni and wheat rice to choose from along with a salad and some really yummy homemade bread that Derek and Jeni made! Thank you Paula Dean and Jordan!
After dinner we watched the finale of Amazing Race. And might I note the 2nd best thing of the night ... TK and Rachel WON! gooooooo TK and Rachel! ... loved them!
