I got an email today, that I know many of you have probably received too with pictures of President Gordon B. Hinckley. It was filled with pictures of the prophet that a man named Scot Facer Proctor has taken over the years and they are some of his favorites ... I couldn't help but post them because they are some of my favorites as well ... The quote at the end is one of my favorites too. Every time I read it, it sends chills through my body and brings tears to my eyes! How grateful I am to be a part of this generation and to have had the opportunity of growing up in the Gospel and have President Hinckley my Prophet for as far back as I can remember. He is a great man ... I know that we are all saddened at his passing but I can't help but think of how happy he is now, with the sweet reunions awaiting him ... Can you imagine?

My favorite saying by Sister Marjorie Hinckley ... "I Really Lived"
"I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails.
I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp.
I want to be there with grass stains on my shoes from mowing Sister Schenk's lawn.
I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbour's children.
I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden.
I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a freind on my shoulder.
I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived."

"You were generals in the War in Heaven and one day when you are in the spirit world, you will be enthralled by those you are associated with. You will ask someone in which time period they lived and you might hear, 'I was with Moses when he parted the Red Sea,' or 'I helped build the pyramids,' or 'I fought with Captain Moroni.' And as you are standing there in amazement, someone will turn to you and ask you which of the prophets' time did you live in? And when you say 'Gordon B. Hinckley' a hush will fall over every hall and corridor in Heaven, and all in attendance will bow at your presence. You were held back six thousand years because you were the most talented, most obedient, most courageous, and most righteous."
