4:00 PM Jordan and Meagan enter Orem Community Hospital

6:00 PM Meagan is given Cervidil (... and told she will probably deliver "tomorrow afternoon")
8:30 PM Meagan starts to feel MINOR contractions
8:30 PM Meagan starts to feel MINOR contractions 11:00/11:30 PM Jordan and Meagan finally start to doze off ...
Wednesday December 10, 2008
2:30 AM Meagan wakes up finding herself squeezing the bed rails feeling PAINFUL contractions! She only had about 4 really painful contractions, far enough apart to fall asleep for a little bit in between, before she felt like she had to go to the bathroom (bad idea!). Jordan helps her to the bathroom ... she has 2 contractions while on the toilet and could NOT get up to get back to the bed! Jordan RUNS out of the room to find their nurse who was luckily right there to run in and help Meagan back to her bed while telling her NOT to push ... are you kidding me? Meagan makes it to the bed and the nurse checks her to see what she is dilated to ... she was a 10! WHAT!? no epidural?? i thought i was maybe only a 5 or a 6! The nurse starts calling everyone in the room that needs to be there for delivery ... Meagan is given a spinal block and goes numb right away! oh, it was heaven! Dr. Young came walking in about the same time Meagan goes numb ... Meagan starts pushing and after only 3 pushes ...
4:40 AM Baby Easton is BORN!
my beautiful MOM. the day i went into the hospital, my sister and i were texting ... she wished me luck and told me that i was going to be the "best mom next to our mom!" i doubt it ... she is amazing! i often wonder, how she does all that she does!? i have a lot to live up to if i strive to follow her footsteps. i can't thank her enough for all of her help the first week jord, easton and i were home from the hospital. i don't know where i would be without her (or my dad)! thanks mom for everything!
first couple of weeks home
we are so blessed to have little Easton in our lives and we are overwhelmed with all the love and joy he has brought into our home. we love him so much! we want to thank ALL of you ... family and friends ... for your endless love and support! we love you!

YEAH CONGRATS! I have been checking for updates and pictures! He is so cute! Logan's birthday is the 11th... so fun! I am glad he finally came. YEAH! He has a big name to live up to, your dad is a good man! I named Logan after my dad, and he is just like him. Good thinking! I can't wait to see him, hopefully soon!

I am SOO glad you finally posted everything. I have been waiting and waiting. I miss my little easton and I can't wait to get back so I can hold him for hours on end :) He seriously just gets cuter and cuter with every day. I hope you are feeling good too and getting a little more adjusted to mommahood. :) If you need anything...anything at all just give me a holler! I will be there.

What an adorable little guy! I'm glad everything went well- even though it all went quite a bit faster than expected. We were so happy to hear that both baby and mom are doing well. Hope you're getting at least a little sleep! :)
