DAY 6 - WEDNESDAY
this was our LAST day in beautiful spain. we had thought about various things we could do ... bullfighting was probably the main thing we may have wished we'd done. after reading about how it acutually happens though, half of us did NOT want to go and half of us did. i think the next time i go to spain (hopefully madrid or barcelona) i will attend a bullfighting match ... just to say i have been. other activities we could have done consisted of staying around the same little town we had been to the past 3 days but we would probably do dinner there again that night. we could swim/snorkel the caves, but that would have been a little difficult with easton ... so we spent the day at the beach again! but this was a different beach than the first one we went to. this one was a little more soft ... way better sand. it was still in the town of nerja but had more beautiul surroundings. it is along the 'costa del sol' as they call it AND 'the balcony of europe' is there. pretty breathtaking views, restuarants, good ice cream and lots of good shopping! it was a great way to spend our last day in malaga!
walking down to the beach
half way down there was this lookout point ... makes for a pretty pic
this was right at the bottom of our walk as we got to the beach ... so cute

if any of you have swam in the mediterranean, you know that it is FREEZING! the boys were being little babies ... so they all had to run in together ... they lasted about 3 minutes and ran back up to shore. it was pretty funny. i wish i would have filmed it (like my S-I-L adriana did).

after the beach and shopping, we went home for a bit to lounge and swim before going to dinner. in spain, like most of south america, they take a seista in the middle of the day and the eat a late dinner around 10 PM. we caught on after the first few days ...
