MONDAY
DAD'S 50th BIRTHDAY
this day was fun and relaxing. i hope my dad had an awesome day too! the night before after everyone supposedly went to bed ... all of us kids gathered in the basement to blow up black and silver balloons (that we brought with us from the states) to place in the hallway outside of my parent's room. we also created a list of 50 things we LOVE about our dad. we were having so much fun shouting out what we wanted written down and then telling our favorite stories about him that we stayed up until 6 AM! pretty much in time for the sun rise! before we headed to bed for about 2 hours, we made a sign on the floor with all of the playing cards we had that read

we for sure celebrated this BIG birthday spain style. it is definitley one that will always be remembered. here are just some of my favorite things written on his list:

we are so thankful for the great example he is to us. we love and appreciate him more than he could ever know!
after waking up to his great birthday surprise, he and my mom headed to the market with east while the rest of us slept for a little bit. thanks you two! when they got back, we all had breakfast then headed to the beach!

NO, both did NOT have alchol in them .... just one!
after eating we walked around a bunch of shops but first stopped at this candy stand, yum!

How fun! 50 is a big one! It looks like the water and the sand was beautiful! I am way Jealous.
