since we have been home from spain our days have been filled with activity ...
(short insert here) P.S. i can see that you all enjoyed my SPAIN posts (sarcasm here ...)
oh wait ... NO comments really!?! REALLY?? thanks peeps! i know you have all looked at them at least twice. and a true thank you to those 5 of you that did leave some:)
now back to what i was getting at,
we just can't get ENOUGH of this HOT summer weather! we LOVE it!
here is what we have been up to the past little bit.
these two pics are from one of the days easton was really sick. i had to put him in his bouncer for 2 minutes to change the laundry and so he wouldn't fuss if i put him on the floor. after doing my duty, i found him like this. he was a tired poop. 24/7 for at least 3 days straight!

eating b-a-n-a-n-a-s!
thanks uncle josh and aunt ad for the CUTE bib from your hometown!
out to eat at CPK with friends ... this is POP. he is from the GA. basically another dad to me. my friend karen's POP (stepdad). he along with my dad, drove jordan and i to boise on our wedding night! but that's a story for another time!
anyway, this was one of the days east was on the uphill of feeling better. we HAD to get out of the house and this was a good reason to! thank goodness he found comfort in pop's arms or it may have been a rough dinner.
this is the only picture i got of our 24th. kind of. this was actually the night before the 24th. nicole and i visited the mall before heading back to midway for a night's sleep and early rise to walk the 5K in charleston for the 24th.
after that we headed to deer creek for a fun few hours with the labrum's and some of their friends. everyone did a little sitting on the beach, boating, and pedaling a paddleboat!
i sat on the beach basically the whole time soaking up the sun. i didn't even want to chance taking easton on the boat after a week of having an ear infection to only feel more crummy.
it was nice and RELAXING! wish i had pictures to share ...
one sunday afternoon
after napping, we decided to drive up the canyon to vivian park to scope it out for our ward bbq THIS saturday. after being there for only, maybe 15 minutes, we drove into this on our way home. after waiting 40 minutes and hearing it was a roll over, we decided to do a U turn and drive the alpine loop home. it was kind of fun since i have never driven it before. wish i would have taken pictures of the beautiful scenery!

AND of course we have been enjoying 7 peaks since we do have season passes.
easton was crusing all over the grass this particular day ...
no, these are NOT our tubes or towels or clothes or shoes ... east thoroughly enjoyed getting into others' things.

dinner with friends

hanging out with these girlies

OH ... and this little one too:)

last weekend ... saturday to tuesday, my mom, easton and i drove down to mesquite. okay not quite mesquite ... beaver dam is more like it, to visit my grandpa, his sweet wife beth and their boy paul. we had fun just hanging out in the COOL air of their home, going to church, visiting my aunt and great g-ma's graves, driving to st. george one night to eat at PF and another night to get DELICIOUS neilson's frozen custard, and getting a tour of the place they call home ...
littlefield and beaver dam! east had a rough time napping and going to bed there, he was not his normal self. call it teething or just plain HM?? we couldn't figure it out, but nevertheless ... g-pa and beth thought he was still SWEET and love love loved the time they got to spend with us.
thanks SO much for a great time you guys ... and beth for the yummy meals! see you soon!

easton found his favorite thing in their house the first night we were there ... this doilie with a bowl of chocolates sitting on top of it on their coffee table. beth continuously threw the doilie on easton's head making both of them laugh uncontrollably. too funny!

I don't usually leave comments - but since you really like them...thanks for coming to visit us. We so enjoyed spending time with you. Can't wait to see you again soon. You do lead a busy life. That's great! Glad you have the energy and zest to do it all. Kiss East for us!!!!
I hardly ever get comments on my blog, so don't feel bad. I have to just hope that people are silent stalkers. :)
Sorry to hear about your wisdom teeth; I have to get mine out too. AND I have cavities!
