birthday boy!

easton's birthday wasn't the most exciting day for him. 
he first had to visit the doctor for his 1 year check-up and get 3 shots. 2 in one leg and 1 in another leg. it just about killed his momma but surprisingly she didn't even shed a tear! she had to be strong for her boy. easton was pretty tough himself.

after leaving the doctor's office, we were off to run errands in prepartion for easton's birthday party held 2 days after his actual birthday. 

after errands, we headed home to make dinner while waiting for dad to get home from work.

then we made chocolate chip muffins for our treat. it was something yummy to stick a candle in and sing happy birthday to easton, spanglish style.

legui and ruby joined us!

after eating muffins, east opened a couple of gifts!

shortly after that easton took a warm bath and we called it a day ...

we stuck this cool candle from argentina in his muffin to sing to him. he loved it!

east loved to climb over his BIG present. he did it every day since the day i wrapped it until he opened it!

we had him open just a couple of presents and made him wait to open the rest on the day of his party. don't ask me why?
