NYC - Day 1 (4.9.10)

we arrived in new york around 10:30 AM.

we headed to our hotel but couldn't check in for a few hours

so we freshened up in the lobby bathroom, left our suitcases with the concierge

and headed out to the streets!

first on the list was shopping in Herald Square.

the 3 story gap, forever 21, h&m ... you catch my drift!

we walked through macy's - the world's largest store - where flowers,

real flowers decorated the place. it was amazing and smelled beautiful.

after shopping, riding the subway, and walking around time square for a bit

we went back to our hotel and checked in to our room.

we lounged for a little bit and freshened up again.

we then headed to 60th street where we shopped urban outfitters (another 3 story store)

and ate at the famous, one of my favorites ... Serendipity!

it was a great way to end our first day in the big city!

of course we went in that sephora behind us!
