NYC - Day 2 (4.10.10)

we began our second day eating a delicious, filling breakfast somewhere in our hotel.
then we made our way to canal street to shop chinatown.
this is some of the best, cheapest and most fun shopping in new york!
at least some of us think so!
and to make it more interesting ... we witnessed the cops SHUT down some of our favorite shops!
although we weren't able to buy more goodies from them ... bummer.
after walking up and down canal street 4 times, we headed to SoHo.
a ritzy neighborhood ... complete opposite of chinatown.
SoHo is where we think the very first anthropologie stands and where kelly ripa lives!
... for those of you that care.
we continued to walk blocks and blocks until we found this yummy pizza joint
and just down the street was Rices to Riches. yup, rice pudding! mmm.
after stuffing ourselves we headed home to prep ourselves for
a broadway dancing musical (if i can call it that) all about Frank Sinatra's music.
it was another wonderful day in the concrete jungle!
