exciting weekend!

[... and of course jord has to give a goofy face. way to go babe!]

some family has been in town ...

and oh how i dread the day they leave!

our time together just never seems to be long enough.

we had a fun little "getaway" at their midway home.

although it rained most of the time, we didn't let it interfere.

we ate out, shopped the PC outlets, played 5 crowns,

watched a movie and the world cup.

and probably the most EXCITING part of the weekend 

was when my older brother called my cell phone at 1:30 AM friday morning.

jord answered and josh said,

"adriana's water broke, we're in the hospital ..."

 we waited on pins and needles all day saturday 

to hear that baby kieren had made his entrance into this world.

the news FINALLY came at 11:30 PM saturday night through a picture text ...

followed by a phone call!

after almost 24 hours of labor and 2 hours of pushing,

this beautiful lady... 

... became a mama! 

and of course my handsome brother became a daddy too, to

Kieren Devon Kennedy

8 pounds 5 ounces

21 inches

easton's first cousin on the kennedy side!

and our first nephew ...

i wish i had a picture to share.  (soon enough!)

i really wish i was holding the little chunk right now!

august can't come soon enough!
