(me and my "baby" ... and my belly looking huge)
i am pretty much caught up on my posting ...
and realized the other day that i haven't blogged for a long time about my "baby."
a couple weeks ago jordan asked me what i am going to call east after the new baby is born
or what i am going to call the new baby if i keep calling easton "baby."
ha. good question.
i will probably call them both baby.
just like we will probably call the new baby ... bubba, buddy, dude, goober, bud (and the list goes on)
just like we call easton.
and i am sure they will both get called each other's names too,
especially when i get mad and raise my voice at them.
just like our mom's have called us our sibling's name(s) at times. mad or not.
i know it has happened to you too:)
throughout this entire pregnancy i have often thought,
how am i going to love this new baby as much as i love easton? is it even possible?
but it is possible. i know it is.
because my parents have 4 children and they love them all the same.
if they can do it, i can too.
not to mention ... the love our Heavenly Father has for ALL of His children ...
if He can do it, i can too.
the thought that east will be put on the "back burner" a little bit though does make me
a little sad. my time alone with JUST him is going to be scarce and rare.
instead i will probably be snapping at him to leave the baby alone,
but it's life i guess. and i am excited for this new change! (i think!)
i am excited to be a mom of 2. but mostly, i am grateful to be a mom.
it is the most beautiful blessing i could ever have.
his newest favorite "toy." my friend has been borrowing this bouncy for a few months and just recently brought it back to us before the baby arrives and easton can't stop playing it! if he doesn't break it before the baby is born, it is going to be interesting to see what he does when we put the baby in it!
east has been so cute for the camera lately. all you have to do is tell him to say "cheeeese!"
and he does ... while raising his arms in the air at the same time ... he can't say cheese without raising his arms at the same time.
easton's new favorite play place.
he loves to sit in the sink, turn the lights and fan on and off with his hands or his NOSE, look at himself in the mirror, kiss the mirror, and hang on the towel holder.
and YES we just let him play ... we are "sofites." it's not worth the fight sometimes,
unless i have just cleaned it!
he can get himself down AND it's a fun place to take pictures of him!
(as you can plainly see)
east playing with me and the camera ... pretending to be shy ... but who is he kidding!

Meagan your blog is so cute!!! I'm so glad you blog! Can't wait to see your new little one! You look amazing.
Easton is so adorable. (and he has such gorgeous hair!)
I think of new additions to families as multipliers of love, not dividers. :) If that makes sense.
