conference weekend was lovely ... as always. but it comes and goes SO fast.

i love how the words of those talks that "get to you" linger in your mind for days after hearing them and making you want to change and be a better person.

 and then you long to hear and watch them again on your tivo.

this october, my conference weekend started off on thursday evening when i went to see and hear NIENIE speak at BYU.

thanks to my sis who called me from the library the week previous asking me with such enthusiasm ...
 "guess who is coming to speak at BYU!?!?"

we both giggled with much excitement. we immediately called our mom and told her to fly out for it. 

we all love nienie ... obviously.  

a few days later when i went to lunch with my mother-in-law, i told her she might want to come ... along with my sister-in-law. and they did ... because they love nienie too.

nienie did not disappoint. she looked beautiful and gave an awesome talk. 

she brought tears to my eyes ... just like the video (above) does every time i watch it. 

i am sure you have all see it a time or two but it's so worth watching again.

we enjoyed watching conference with both families in midway. 

i am a little disappointed the baby decided NOT to come because i was really wanting him to!

but only 6 days from today ... if he doesn't come before october 12th.

yes, i decided to go ahead and get induced ... (more on that later).

i am looking forward to fall more and more each day ... 

especially now that i have pumpkins on my porch and a cute wreath with splashes of orange on it 

on my front door.
