our cousin (on the LUKE side) just went into the MTC last wednesday.
the sunday before was his farewell ... in st. george.
we didn't go due to having a 13 day old baby and fear of me "overdoing it."
we are sad we missed it but happy we were still able to see him one last time
before leaving for 2 years.
me and the boys and nicole and koryn met up with him and his fam (the ones that came)
at cafe rio for lunch. (jord missed out on this too due to work.)
we are SO proud of mike for choosing to serve the Lord.
and we hope he comes home with a strong southern accent!
which i am sure he will ... along with a love of fried food! or maybe not?
in less than 3 weeks he will be entering the mission field in
Jackson Mississippi!
