halloween was pretty low key this year. thanks to having children under the age of 2.
and thank goodness because the weather was gross and rainy ALL night.
we attended our ward's trunk or treat in the church gym ... thanks to the rain.
easton had a blast running around like a crazy giraffe,
laughing with all of the other kids and getting his cute pumpkin bag full of "treats!"
that is what he calls candy.
when we left the church we decided last minute to escape to midway
and watch the utah/air force game in jord's parents theater room.
we couldn't (or more like could) imagine handing out candy to trick or treaters with easton
trying to run outside and then throwing a huge fit when not letting him run outside
... every single time the door opened and then closed.
... every single time the door opened and then closed.
and if you have been at our house when this happens, then you understand our escape!
so it was a perfect solution to having a more relaxing night and watching the game in peace.
with quite a bit of halloween candy from easton's "treat" bag and all of the left over candy we didn't hand out. mmm!
jord's family was in st. george so we left the lights out in their home and headed straight to the basement.
here are the poor pictures i took ...
so like i said in my last post, (now you know why)
after halloween weekend, i ode to take more, better pictures of my boys and my family!
i can't believe we didn't get a picture of our whole family together!
(we still do not have ONE picture of all 4 of us since luke has been born!)
and i can't believe i didn't get one of jord and east! not a single picture with jord in it.
pitiful.

the best picture we have ... and it is from jord's iphone!
here is baby luke in a picture from my iphone
easton and luke ... another iphone pic. it is even better than the one i tried to take with my camera!
as soon as east said he wanted to hold baby "guke" ... he decided he didn't want to and started to push him off his lap.
my candy that everyone loved at the trunk or treat ... especially the "fruity" basket.
thanks costco!
me and my baby giraffe!
east with his best buddies ... eva and beckham

I know what you mean with the "escape"...Eric did just what you said Easton would do every time the door opened. We were finally able to get him to go to sleep but it was a pain!!
Easton makes an adorable giraffe! Looks like he had fun. I think that church trunk-r-treats are a life saver; I didn't take Mandy door to door at all this year.
P.S. You're looking great!
I love the giraffe costume, that is so fun! I feel like such a bum, this year I didn't dress up me or my new baby. Oh well, next year! Love Luke's little shirt!
That is ONE cute giraffe! You sure have some cute boys!!
