this week has been SO busy for us it is not even funny.
we've had something going on every single night - m,t,w,th,f, and s.
and you guessed it. i want to blog it ALL.
i just don't know where to start.
so i am just going to lay it all out ... in. this. one. blog. post.
i will try to make it as short as possible. but i am sure i have had longer posts than this one will be.
so, happy reading and picture peeking!
{monday}
we had our buddies over for dinner, dessert and fantasy factory. all for jord's birthday(on tuesday).
these buddies are the peeps i always refer to as our favorite friends.
highlight of the night was their "jr. high" candy bar poster as clay referred to it.
although i made them in high school for some friends and even in college too. so "jr. high" what?
they even stood in front of us and read it aloud ... dancing when they read the line,
"we would pay 100 grand to see you tootsie roll."
oh man ... i wish i would have videoed it. what was i thinking?
these two are the most awesome people we have ever known (along with their 3 kiddos).
we love you clay, ashley, eva, beck, and cash!
{tuesday}
happy birthday to my love!
and his momma too! if you remember last year ... then you remember who jord shares his birthday with.
or maybe it is the other way around!
we spent the night stuffing our fat bellies at texas roadhouse with the most food i think we have ever
ordered at a restaurant. ever.
and then tried to walk some of that food off while walking around the mall.
thanks clay and ash (friends above) for watching east!
2 appetizers, 2 full meals and endless baskets of delicious rolls with honey butter!
(no, we didn't eat it all! i ended up taking almost my whole meal home!)
jd's argentine colored bracelet that came with his toms i gave him for his birthday.
out of all the gifts i gave him ... this is his favorite (which technically was not even a gift!)
how does that work?
but he did serve his mission in argentina.
{wednesday}
we headed to midway as soon as jord got off work to get his and easton's haircut.
yes, we finally decided it was time to chop easton's beautiful hair.
it's been bittersweet. we miss his curls ... but we are loving the short short hair.
you will too when you see his handsome little self.
thank you thank you zee zee!
the aftermath.
{thursday}
girls night!
or more like BABY (and momma) night.
we have had 17 babies born in our ward in the last 6 months!
amazing is all i have to say.
one of these momma's is genius and thought we should all get together and take pictures.
what a fun memory! check these out ...
(luke is the oldest and biggest by far. see if you can spot him! he's not wearing his helmet ...)
14 babies ... missing 3!
babies born from october to february
babies born in march and april
and of course we had to get one of the momma's too!
{friday}
we spent this night at the mall ... again ...
but this time searching for and buying the finishing touches to our outfits for family pictures.
we are about sick of the mall right about now.
boys bow ties for family pics. thank you aj for giving us these adorable goodies!
{saturday}
tonight we met jord's fam at smash burger for dinner and then headed to yogurtland for dessert.
if you haven't been to either of these places ... we suggest you try 'em out. yum!
i just finished up the boys' easter "baskets" and can't wait to see easton's face in the morning when he finds his treats.
i also can't wait to spend easter tomorrow with family!
the easter bunny has arrived!
goodnight all!
