1 blessing and 2 birthdays

okay. i know that i have been given the award for slowest blogger ... ever.

i am SO so behind that i know i will just skip a few posts that i have wanted to post 

over the past week or two. that is always what happens when i stop blogging for five days.

i have a list of excuses ... and yes, they are excuses. here are some worth sharing ...

we haven't had internet for 2 days (our router came unplugged!), mom has been in town for mother's day and my birthday,
i have been busy cleaning house and doing laundry, we hung out with friends we haven't hung out with in a long time,
and we hosted a dinner group for some ward pals.

anyway ... to the real reason for this post.

a couple of saturday's ago, jord, the boys and i flew home from georgia.

to get back in time just to spend sunday, may 1st with our favorite friends.

they blessed their newest baby (baby cash) and celebrated their other 2 kiddos' birthdays.

with a pinata, a cotton candy machine and a candy bar to make it complete!
i had the best/worst sugar headache i've ever had the rest of the night ...

i don't know two of these girlies but this picture shows exactly why i need to have a little lady.

so i can curl her hair and doll her up with headbands ... dress her in darling little dresses, sweaters, and leggings.
