{my momma and i ... 1988 maybe?}
this post is SO overdue.
i know mother's day was 9 days ago. but if you heard my excuses for this past week ...
you would (maybe) have a little pity.
i just can't let this one "skip" on by.

i just can't let this one "skip" on by.
motherhood is such a big part of my life. in a few different aspects.
as long as i can remember, i have always wanted to be a mom.
if you had asked me what i wanted to be when i grew up, i would have said ... a mom.
a stay at home mom ... just like my mom.
i can't believe the time has come. the time is here. now.
i am so grateful that my Father in Heaven has entrusted my 2 sweet boys to me.
although motherhood can be a struggle at times i wouldn't have it any other way.
motherhood has taught me how to unconditionally love.
motherhood has taught me how to unconditionally love.
i feel so blessed!
i am grateful to my beautiful mother who has taught me everything i know.
i am grateful to my mother-in-law who has taught me quite a few things too ... and for raising my handsome, hard-working husband.
and lastly, i am grateful to all of the women in my life who have been great examples to me
in one way or another.
p.s. notice my blonde blonde hair in the picture above? other than the fact that this picture is one of my favorites of me and my mom, this is proof to those of you who i always tell i had "white blonde" hair for about 3 years when i was little.
this picture is one of the many that i had scanned onto a disc when i was home back in january!
can't wait to share more ... one of these days!
p.s.s. i tried to get a good picture of me and my boys on mother's day before church but easton was not having it. nor was he after church ... i think he may be hitting the terrible 3's seven months early. then i thought about getting one on my birthday last thursday but i kind of forgot.
oh yeah, and daddy was at school until 8:30!
(more explanation on some of these things later ...)

Adorable photo. So cute. It's amazing how many brunettes were blonde when they were tiny.
