top 10 reasons the past 10 days have been crazy, b.u.s.y., and fulfilling all at the same time.

10. jordan started school (AGAIN) for the third time in our marriage. this will be his (only) 5th semester in the 5 years we have been married. and he will not stop until he has his bachelor degree.

what the heck have we been doing?

9. i have celebrated my 26th birthday with my mom and grandma. with a few girlfriends. with my favorite friends. with my hubs and baby boys. and with my in-laws. man, i am a lucky lady!

i can't thank them OR all of you who called, texted, and fb messaged me. thank you, thank you!

8. had an appointment with our buddy dallin at the orthotics office for baby luke's '1 month of wearing his helmet' measuring and check-up. not huge change, but some. and the back of his little flat head is growing in the right direction. so, cheers! hopefully it will even grow more in this next month! 

7. luke began his 5 day diarrhea fiasco on thursday, the 12th (my birthday!). oh and a few hours of vomiting too. amongst all of his pooping. poor babe. i think he lost at least 5 pounds.
did you know that diarrhea is contagious? 


6. therefore, we lost count of how many diapers we changed and how many loads of wash we did ... including bedding, blankets, luke's clothes, my clothes, and jord's clothes.


5. easton picked up a double ear infection on saturday night. we just thought he had allergies and was really whiney because he wanted to play outside. ha, were we wrongo. on sunday while getting ready for church, he started to hold his ears saying "ouch! ouch!" ... there's your sign!


4. the weather is really making it feel like it is winter again! we have been in sweats and sweaters all week, and if you were over at our home for dinner you would feel like it is winter again too. just to name one meal ... tomato soup and grilled cheese.
really mother nature!? it is the middle of the may!


3. this weather is also making me want to curl up on my couch and watch a bunch of my tivoed shows that have gotten a little out of hand. i am loving oprah's final shows of her farewell season! i'll admit ... i have shed a few tears.

2. easton counted to ten the other day in english and spanish! i was so happy and proud that i gave him 20+ high fives and then recorded it on my phone to text it to the grandparents.

1. i am flying to one of my favorite places on earth tomorrow ... a place where i will some day live ...
nashville, tennessee!

oh and one more thing that i guess doesn't get a number. we are supposed to re-take family pictures tonight, but thanks to this cold rainy weather we will have to re-schedule for a 3rd time! thanks to our very workable, beautiful photographer for putting up with us!
