easton has been full of silliness lately. especially today. seriously, he has been cracking me up.
i have been telling jord since he got home from school 2 hours ago ...
and we are still giggling like crazy.
oh, how we love our smart, very alert, sometimes sounding like a "broken record player" 2 1/2 year old!
- for the second time ever counting to (almost) eight in spanish: "uno.dos.tres.quatro.cinco.seis.ocho.seis"
- driving in the car to take jordan his backpack at the school: "oh my gosh. oh my heck. ... oh my gosh."
- standing in luke's room pointing to his quilt on the wall (while i sat in the rocker and fed luke): "dat basketball! dat baseball! dat football! dat soccer ball!"
- walking into nordstrom: "a push da button! a push da button!" (talking about the handicapped sign buttons that open the doors.)
- getting in the car at the mall we heard a dog barking but couldn't see it: "dat dog! dat dog! dat dog! dat dog! dat dog!"
- playing jake and the neverland pirates in luke's car seat (i think pretending it was a ship): "ahoy jake!" (picture above)
- (yesterday) standing in the back of the cart with luke at target playing peek-a-boo ... bending over luke"s car seat and shouting in his face while the two of them are laughing uncontrollably: "ahhh peek-a-boo!" "ahhh momma!" "ahhh daddy!" "ahhh tunie!" "ahhh grampa!" "ahhh shelby!"
and yes he said all of these and then stopped. what about everyone else in the fam?
- every time he hears a diesel pull into iceberg or the garbage trucks or sirens on state street, he runs to the window(s): "a see truck! a see truck!" "a see sirens! a see sirens!"
- every time he sees luke, in a really high pitched voice: "hi baby buke!"
(... and yes he says" ahh" in place of i so i just put in a in it's place.)

TOO cute! What a lil talker he is becoming! We MUST play soon so I can see this silly adorable little guy!
LOVE ya
I love when they start to show their personality with their talking! He is a cute kid!
Hi hair cut makes him look like such a big boy!
He's at the age where kids really start saying some funny things. So much fun! I love how he plays with his little bro; so sweet.
