a week late

our memorial day weekend unfortunately did not include visiting gravesides with flowers.

i kind of feel just like nienie did after it was all over. go here to read about it.

instead, it consisted of this:

planting flowers in the front yard, cutting a couple of backyards, a visit with our favorite friends, a real game, a little shopping,
a birthday dinner for sister nicole, and finally ... 

spent some time with good pals from georgia who were in town. we had cafe rio and frozen yogurt instead of the traditional bbq.
and the next night we had pizza with a few other peeps. 

thanks jace, karen, mcrae, and cannon for fitting us into your utah schedule! we love ya'll and miss you already!
