hawaii. day one.

day one was more like half a day.
we flew into honolulu around 2:30 in the afternoon (hawaii time).
the boys were angels on the flight. i am still in shock about it.
not a crying peep from either boy.
i think i can thank the "bubble guppies, airpane" episode. east absolutely loves the plane. any plane.

after meeting up with dad & mom and getting our rental car, we headed toward diamond head where our house was ... along with brother josh, adriana, kieren, and trevor.
these luckies got there a day earlier.
we toured the house and dropped our luggage into our rooms.
walked down the street to the beach to check it out (and put our toes in the sand).
then drove straight to the closest and first restaurant we all spotted ... chile's.
after eating we ran into the mall right next to chile's to pick up some goodies,
and then to the grocery store for some other/real goodies to stock in the house for the week.
then we headed home. relaxed a little and went to bed!

because this day was so exciting ... i only have a few pics.
(but just you wait!)

trev&east (and the rest of the fam) outside the mall.

stripped down a little while relaxing

So fun! Flying with Eric gives me anxiety but he always exceeds my expectations. I'm glad both yours boys had a good flight! I'm looking forward to the 600+ pics to come. =)

kare - ONE dollar! not fair. i think we bought easton's for like $12 or whatever the full price was almost 2 years ago!

megan - i always have a little anxiety right before the flight and they always do exceed my expectations! guess you always have to expect the worst ...

cheeser - of course you know that mall! you know everything and everybody!!! you are so cool:)
(and no ... these are not fighting words! seriously. i know that is what you are thinking after reading this ...)
