day two was a sunday.
we woke up and got ourselves pretty for family pictures.
only to get out to the beach, have our photographer snap (maybe) 3 shots and then RAIN. lots.
so we headed to the house to hang until church.
we attended sacrament meeting and then went to a yummy little joint called wahoo's for lunch.
after eating, the weather was beautiful, of course.
the rain in hawaii isn't like the rain anywhere else.
it comes and goes. and you can still swim in the ocean. it's lovely ...
(if you aren't in white clothes with your hair curled.)
these pics may only be really funny for the fam. during lunch, wahoo's had an 80's playlist of music playing through the speakers and the guys played a game where whoever guessed the singer first got a point.
the points were tied and my dad ended up getting the last song we heard walking out ...
he was apparently pretty happy about it!
... so we went home again and got ready for family pictures ... again.
this time we went to a different location.
to a beach behind the beautiful kahala hotel & resort.
just down the road from our house.
this hotel also has their own "lush tropical gardens and private lagoon with dolphins."
the kids were in heaven.
after watching the dolphins and turtles for awhile,
we headed home (again) real quick for some of us to change our clothes.
then we headed to waikiki to walk the shops. after 10 minutes of walking into the international market place we turned around and walked out. the (baby) boys were not having it.
so we decided to just go to dinner. at one of dad's favorites.

then we called it a night!
and yes, by the time this day was over ... we were itchin' for the beach! especially trev.

Your trip looks amazing! I can't wait to see more pictures. Glad you guys had fun and made it back safe. It looks like you guys had a blast, love family vacations!
