home for the holiday's. post two. christmas eve 2011.

i am finally posting christmas eve! i feel like this post has taken me forever!
so many pictures to sort through ...
they are bringing back so many memories too that i just want to go back.

we had quite the christmas eve!
carrying on some traditions from years past
and doing things i think we should make a tradition in the years to come!
here's how the day played out:

lazy morning. some worked out and some hung out
ate mom's homemade blueberry pancakes ... mmm!
headed down town atlanta for the amazing cirque du soleil cavalia odysseo
back home for everyone's favorite corn chowder
grampa read the nativity story out of the scriptures
played a game of pictionary. boys against girls.
hot chocolate bar ... double mmm!
opened one gift
east wrote a letter to santa and left him some snicker's and a coke (for daddy)
and a DC w/lime (for grampa).
baby boys bathed and in bed
some of us played santa and some watched a movie!

{cirque du soleil}
we got all of the pictures we could before going in the show.
the boys did amazingly well.
easton and kieren were fascinated with all of the horses. not to mention they both LOVE horses anyway.
this is one those traditions i think we should do every christmas eve together
(as long as there is a show in atlanta).

{nativity story}
kieren was so cute sitting with grandpa and luke thought it looked like fun so he had to join them.

{pictionary!}
mom had a stash of only christmas "things". movies. songs. or books.
a lot of them none of us even knew so it made it even harder to draw.
some how i managed to get a picture of everyone drawing except jord!
and i got two of trev.
don't ask me how that happened but jord is in a lot of the pictures i did take of everyone else ...

{baseball mask}
as soon as easton spotted this think in uncle trevor's room it became a regular "toy" for the baby boys.
uncle josh put it on first and easton laughed his head off. he stole it from him and put it on himself.
then it was grampa's turn ...
love these moments i captured.
kieren was scared of it until he warmed up to it a few days later and lukie didn't mind it.

{hot chocolate bar!}

{opening one present}
the baby boys opened a gift from grandma and grandpa and the rest of us opened sibling gifts.

{santa's letter}
here is easton's letter to santa and his treats!

happy christmas eve!
