on what i think is the worst flight we've (ever) had.
the boys are usually better than ever. but not this time.
easton had no movies to watch on the iPad or my phone.
i guess there was some miscommunication between jord and i about that ... or something.

so that + an ornery, tired east = disaster.
screaming and crying and not wanting anything we tried to give him instead.
luke wasn't his normal self either for some reason.
they both finally fell asleep for the last 30-40 minutes of the flight.
we were definitely glad to get on the ground in the atl.
and i think everyone else on that airplane was too. including aj.
she just might never fly with us again after that episode of a flight!
our first week home was full of shopping (i did lots of santa shopping there), relaxation,
and letting the three little cousins (pictured above) wreak havoc around grandpa and grandma's house.
oh, and we ate and ate and ate.
it was so lovely to be amongst the smell of the holiday's (& home, if you know what i mean)
and all of my mom's beautiful christmas decor and feeling the spirit (and magic) of christmas!
the two pictures in this post is ALL we got the entire first week we were home.
pretty pathetic considering the fanatics my sister and i are about having our camera's in hand all the time.
the picture of the boys was such a candid shot. we were all sitting around the dinner table talking after stuffing our faces and heard the boys giggling and playing with an iPad (and ironically none of them are even smiling). when we all turned to look at them,
all three had climbed into that comfy yellow chair ... happy we caught that moment!
this other picture is the marquee at our little brother's high school ... he was athlete of the week for wrestling. and i have proof of this.
but it deserves it's own post. way to go trev!
