christmas treein'

oh, this seems like ages ago ... since we took our tree down last night.
when we planned to get our tree this, i mean, last year, we knew we wanted to go to this lot just down the street (on center street next to target) because there was (a) mater parked next to all of the trees.
we also knew that we wanted to get the cheapest, or a cheaper priced, small tree because we were only going to enjoy it for about three weeks before heading to georgia.
after looking at the (expensive) price of the smallest, cheapest tree at that lot we jetted out of there and went to another lot just a block away.
we are glad we did! we got just what we wanted for a decent price ... score!
i think we were a bit excited because we went for frozen yogurt before heading home.
hot chocolate just didn't sound as good as froyo on that cold evening.

i didn't love our tree when we first put it up. i thought it was too short.
but after about the third morning of waking up and walking downstairs to turn the tree lights on,
(yes. i am one of those people that likes the lights on all day long ... )
it grew on me.
maybe it was the train tracks that circled around it? and easton running to it every morning to turn the train on.
christmas, well - pretty much everything, is more fun when you have children!
