our last day.
it went a little like this ...
woke up. got ready. packed our bags. cleaned up the house (a little).
headed toward the PCC but stopped at leonard's bakery for malasada's (for the 3rd time!).
and it was worth it because they had mango flavor that day.
drove to the polynesian culture center just to get lei'd! ha, just kidding.
but we really did when we very first arrived. (thank you dad for all of your hook-ups!) and we smelt lovely the rest of the day.
after the (baby) boys had had enough, we left and went to lunch for the third and last time at our favorite, kahuku grill.
after stuffing our faces with it's deliciousness, we drove to the temple and passed some time while hanging out on the temple grounds.
then ... we were airport bound.
changed and lounged in the crown room until boarding our plane for the all nighter.
we had a relaxing, peaceful flight home. thank you boys for sleeping the entire flight!
and thank you dad & mom for another amazing - adventuruas family vacay!
we love y'all! all of y'all.
procedure when you are giving someone a lei: you put it around their neck and then give them a hug and kiss.
had to capture mom and trev.
watching some of the shows ...
(or not really watching)
watched the canoe pageant ...
and chilled out with some shaved ice ... of course.
the temple is breathtaking.
we enjoyed ourselves relaxing in front of it's beauty.
so much so that we took LOTS of pictures. between dad and i.
i told my sis who is in austria (remember?) that i would go all out in these hawaii posts ... all candid.
so i guess these pictures are mostly for you jac. and these really aren't ALL. most.
but come one, it's a little ridiculous. and the family was sick of my camera clicking by the end of this trip.
playing catch with chapstick ... can you spot it?
"wake up uncle josh!"
the chapstick is very present in this one ...
"run eastie!!!"
and of course ... the classic.
ahhh ... a hui hou hawaii.
(until we meet again.)
